The right visa, prepared the right way — the first time matters.

Every year, thousands of Australian visa applications are refused or delayed for avoidable reasons. Government fees are high and almost always non-refundable, and a refusal can put your work rights, study, or family plans on hold for years. A registered Adelaide migration agent gives you clarity before you commit. Here's what we see go wrong:

Wrong visa subclass: Applying for the wrong pathway can cost you months and the entire application fee.
Weak or inconsistent evidence: The single most common reason for refusal across skilled, partner and family visas.
Missed deadlines: Bridging visa lapses and appeal windows (often just days) can't be undone.
Unregistered "agents" : Australia is full of unlicensed consultants who vanish when things go wrong. MARA registration is non-negotiable.
Giving up after a refusal : Many refusals can be reviewed at the ART but only if you act fast.

Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Do I really need a migration agent?
Legally, you can self-lodge. Practically, Australian visa applications carry a high evidentiary burden, and a meaningful share of applications are refused — usually for reasons a registered agent would have caught. With non-refundable government fees at stake, most applicants decide professional help is worth the certainty. A local Adelaide migration agent also means in-person appointments when you need them.
What visa types do you handle?
We advise across skilled visas (189, 190, 491), partner and spouse visas (820/801, 309/100, 300, 461), employer-sponsored visas (482, 186, 494), family and parent visas (including contributory parent), student visas, citizenship, and ART appeals for refused or cancelled visas. If you're not sure which applies, our free eligibility check will tell you.
What is an ART appeal, and how long do I have?
The Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) reviews many visa refusals and cancellations. The time limit to apply is strict and depends on your decision type — commonly 28 days or less, and sometimes only a few days. Because the deadline can't be extended in most cases, you should call us the day you receive a refusal or cancellation notice so we can assess your review prospects immediately.
Are you registered? What is MARA?
MARA is the body that licenses migration agents in Australia. Easy Migration holds active MARA registration under MARN 1808753, You can verify any registered agent on the public OMARA register. Avoid anyone who can't produce their MARN — they are operating illegally. Please note we are a private agency and are not part of, or affiliated with, any government department.
How much do your services cost?
Our professional fees are fixed and quoted in writing upfront — no hourly billing and no surprise invoices. Government (Department of Home Affairs) charges are separate, are set by the Department, and depend on the visa subclass and number of applicants. Book a free eligibility check and we'll give you a transparent quote for your specific situation.
Can I work while my visa is processing?
It depends on the visa and whether you applied onshore. Onshore applicants are often granted a Bridging Visa with work rights once their substantive visa expires. We make sure there's no gap in your lawful status and that your bridging visa conditions match your needs — work, study, travel, and Medicare access where applicable.
Do you offer in-person consultations ?
Yes, Our office at Level G/121 King William St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia welcomes appointments. We also offer video consultations (Zoom or Microsoft Teams) and phone consultations for clients across South Australia and interstate. Book your free 20-minute eligibility check above.
My situation is complex — will you still help?
Complex cases are where we add the most value. We regularly advise on Section 48 bar concerns, previous refusals, character issues, de facto evidence challenges, and tight appeal deadlines that other agents turn away. Bring us the full picture in your eligibility check and we'll give you an honest assessment of your options.
